F Sharp 9 – Qualified Music Tuition

Terms and Conditions

1. Lesson Provision

All music tuition is provided exclusively by the designated teacher at F Sharp 9 – Qualified Music Tuition. Lessons are delivered on a one-to-one basis unless otherwise expressly agreed. For maximum benefit, it is requested that students do not engage in simultaneous tuition from a second teacher whilst receiving ongoing tuition from F Sharp 9 – Qualified Music Tuition.

2. Termination of Tuition

F Sharp 9 – Qualified Music Tuition reserves the absolute right to terminate tuition arrangements at its discretion, at any time, with or without prior notice and without being required to provide a reason. Where tuition is terminated, any fees paid in advance for lessons that have not taken place will be refunded, subject to any applicable outstanding amounts owed.

3. Fees and Payment

Lesson fees are payable upon request and in accordance with the payment arrangements communicated by the teacher. Students or their parents/guardians, as applicable, are responsible for ensuring that fees are paid promptly. Continued tuition is subject to the satisfactory settlement of fees due.

4. Lessons at the Teacher's Home

Where a student under the age of 18 attends lessons at the teacher's home, a parent or legal guardian must remain present at the premises throughout the lesson unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed in advance. This requirement forms part of the safeguarding arrangements for home-based tuition.

5. Lessons at the Student's Home

Where tuition takes place at a student's home, a responsible adult must remain present in the property and within earshot of the lesson for its entire duration. The lesson must take place with the relevant doors left open to ensure appropriate visibility and audibility. These arrangements are intended to support the safety and wellbeing of both the student and the teacher.

6. Acceptance of Terms

By commencing or continuing tuition with F Sharp 9 – Qualified Music Tuition, the student or, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. The teacher reserves the right to update these terms where reasonably necessary, with notice of any material changes provided to affected students or their parents/guardians.
